Convergys Customer Management - $250,000 Class Settlement

On May 16, 2015, Outten & Golden filed suit against Convergys Customer Management Group, Inc. and Convergys Corporation ("Convergys Customer Management") seeking to recover 60 days wages and benefits for former employees under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification ("WARN") Act. We contend Convergys Customer Management ordered mass layoffs on or about May 16, 2015, without providing its employees with advance written notice.

On March 10, 2017, the Court granted final approval of a class settlement of $250,000, inclusive of attorneys’ fees and expenses. Settlement checks were mailed to members of the class on April 28, 2017. Class members had nine (9) months from the date of issuance of the settlement checks to deposit or negotiate them.
